About Department

The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department at Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Polytechnic was established in 2024 to foster a smarter and more collaborative future. With an annual intake of 120 seats, the department focuses on developing skilled professionals capable of working with intelligent systems and emerging technologies.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) enables machines to simulate aspects of human intelligence, while Machine Learning (ML), a subset of AI, enables computer systems to learn patterns from data and improve their performance without being explicitly programmed for every task.

The department boasts modern infrastructure and well-equipped laboratories and is dedicated to delivering effective technical education through experiential learning. With qualified faculty members and an enthusiastic student community, the department provides exposure to emerging technologies that are relevant to evolving industry requirements.

Our initiatives are designed to equip students with technical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in the professional environment. To prepare industry-ready students with holistic personalities, the department collaborates with various organizations and regularly conducts activities such as industry visits, technical talks, workshops and real-time projects.
