About Department

The Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering in Pune is an interdisciplinary program that integrates Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering to design and develop advanced automation and intelligent control systems. Mechatronics plays a crucial role in modern industries such as robotics, manufacturing automation, aerospace, automotive systems, and smart technologies.

The curriculum blends strong theoretical foundations with extensive practical training. Students study mechanics, electronics, embedded systems, control theory, robotics, sensors and actuators, PLC programming, and industrial automation. The program emphasizes the integration of these domains to build efficient and intelligent mechatronic systems.

Modern laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art automation and robotics tools provide hands-on exposure to real-time industrial applications. Industry visits, workshops, and expert sessions ensure that students understand practical challenges and current technological trends.

After completion of the diploma, graduates are prepared to work as automation technicians, robotics operators, maintenance engineers, and system integrators. With strong programming skills and system-level understanding, they are capable of contributing effectively in multidisciplinary industrial environments.
