The Department of Automobile Engineering is established in 2008 with intake of 60 Students and is engaged in rendering quality education in Automobile engineering to cater industry’s demands of Quality Engineering and Professionals. The department is well supported by qualified and enthusiastic teaching staff members. Department is equipped with Laboratories in Automobile Transmission, Automobile System, Automobile Engine, Automobile Electrical and VGTAP(Automobile Workshop).
Department aims at imparting skills to all students to increase their employability. To serve this purpose value addition programmes like “VGTAP course (Volkswagen Group of Technical Apprenticeship Programme.)” are being conducted, in association with Volkswagen Group of Sales India Pvt. Ltd.over and above MSBTE curriculum. The result of this reflects in this campus placement of students from core Automobile companies and service stations like Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda.etc.
The staff members are continuously engaged in upgrading themselves through research in the advanced areas. Some faculties have published their papers in National and International Journal.
