Expert Session on Cloud Computing Concepts | MM Polytechnic Pune

A report is being submitted on the Expert Session held in our institute on 12 / 09 / 2026, Saturday, organized by the Computer Engineering Department. The session was conducted to provide students with knowledge of cloud computing concepts and their applications in the IT industry.

The expert session on “Cloud Computing Concepts” covered the fundamental concepts, characteristics, and applications of cloud computing. The session provided students with an understanding of cloud-based services and their importance in modern IT infrastructure.

The speaker explained different cloud computing models, deployment models, benefits, and practical applications of cloud technologies. The session also provided students with industry-oriented insights into the use of cloud computing in software development and IT operations.

It was a great pleasure to welcome our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Abhay Jagtap, for an insightful interaction with our students. His inspiring journey and valuable industry experience provided students with practical knowledge, career guidance, and motivation to build successful careers in Cloud Computing and DevOps.

The expert interaction helped students connect classroom concepts with real-world cloud infrastructure and IT operations. Students gained awareness of cloud deployment and service models, AWS building blocks, cloud security, IAM, monitoring, and the shared responsibility model.

The career roadmap shared by the speaker encouraged students to focus on hands-on practice, projects, certification and continuous learning for building careers in Cloud Computing and DevOps.
