Automobile Engineering Department

About Department

The Department of Automobile Engineering, established in 2008 with an intake of 60 students, delivers quality technical education aligned with the evolving demands of the automotive industry. The department is supported by qualified and dedicated faculty members committed to academic excellence and professional development.

Well-equipped laboratories such as Automobile Transmission, Automobile Systems, Automobile Engine, Automobile Electrical, and VGTAP (Automobile Workshop) provide hands-on technical exposure. Through strong industry collaboration and value-added programs like the Volkswagen Group Technical Apprenticeship Programme (VGTAP), students gain real-world skills beyond the MSBTE curriculum.

Consistent campus placements in reputed automobile companies including Volkswagen, Audi, and Skoda reflect the department’s industry-oriented approach. Faculty members actively engage in research and publish papers in national and international journals, ensuring academic relevance and innovation.
