About department

Mechanical Engineering is the key in wealth creation by converting raw material into finished goods. The value of the material increases when it undergoes several processes, operations and treatments. Department of Mechanical Engineering is committed to serve this noble cause for better living of our people, by providing them with highly competent Engineers to lead in Automobile sector, Manufacturing industries, Energy conservation, Agricultural implements, Robotics, Computer aided design and manufacturing, industrial automation etc. 

 

The Mechanical Engineering Department established in year 2008 with intake of 60. The Department has highly qualified and experienced faculties. Most of the faculties are post graduates.

 

The department is having well equipped in-house developed laboratories, departmental library, classrooms with projectors and workshop with good infrastructure.  

 

The department has always strived for bridging the gap between industry and institute. The department has strong interaction Industry Institute Interaction (III). Under the III the department has signed MOU with ANAND Automotive Ltd, Antech Micro systems PVT LTD, Kuuality –Innovative engineering for the value addition to the students. Department has active implementation of VLCI, a process to strengthen the Indian Industry
