About Department
The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department at Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Polytechnic was established in 2024 to foster a smarter and more collaborative future. With an annual intake of 60 seats, this department is part of an initiative focused on developing intelligent machines that can think and operate like humans. Artificial Intelligence (AI) enables machines to simulate human behavior, while Machine Learning (ML), a subset of AI, allows machines to learn automatically from past data without explicit programming. The department boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, and is dedicated to delivering effective technical education through experiential learning. With efficient faculty and a dynamic student community, we aim to provide exposure to cutting-edge technology that meets industry needs. Our initiatives are designed to equip students with the technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills necessary to thrive in the external world. To prepare industry-ready students with holistic personalities, we collaborate with various firms and regularly organize activities such as industry visits, technical talks, and real-time projects to enhance both their technical and soft skills.
